The use of 'do' and 'does' in the English language.
Today we are going to study the use of "Do" and "Does" in the English language.
आज हम अंग्रेजी भाषा में "Do" और "Does" के प्रयोग का अध्ययन करने जा रहे हैं।
DO :
Do is used for the plural nouns. For example I, we, you, us, them, their, these, those, our and they etc.
For statement :
- I do my homework.
- They do their work.
For questions :
- Do you like ice cream?
- What do you do?
Does :
Does is used for singular nouns. For example: she, he, it, anyone's name etc.
For statement :
- He is doing his work.
- She does her work at the university.
For questions :
- Does she work at the office?
- Does he go to Mumbai?
We used basic form of the verb after does.
Example:
- Does she work? ✅
- Does she works? ❌
